I™™ve been really happy with this gas range. I just moved from an apartment that had a terrible gas stove/ oven unit. I passed out many times from people accidently turning the gas on because the knobs were in the way and would fill my apt. with gas while I was at work. Several of the burners had to be lit with a lighter also. It was impossible to clean around the burners as well. My new GE stove is an amazing upgrade! It works beautifully, it would be very difficult to unintentionally turn the gas on (it hasn't happened yet!), and clean up is a breeze! Nicest range and stove I've ever had. I also really appreciate that it's not infested with roaches.... like AT ALL!! It's just the darndest thing!! Would highly recommend!!

I purchased the Hotpoint Range one month ago as a replacement for a Hotpoint I had since 2003. The old Range performed well until last month when the oven malfunctioned.

So far so good. I am not use to a gas stove, but had to since that is what was here when I bought the place. Old stove died, got this one about a month ago, and so far so good. The oven does throw off more heat then the older one, so of course it gets quite warm in here.

I bought this range about 1 1/2 months ago and it™™s great! Does exactly what it is supposed to do with no issues. The buttons for the timer and turning the oven on are easy to use. I like how the timer chimes when you get down to just 1 minute left.

I bought this last month and wouldn™™t buy again. If Reading about features online just isn™™t the same as actually using an appliance. I didn™™t realize that when the broiler is below the oven there is a flame that is accessible every time you use the gas oven. Not kid-proof in my opinion. Best suited for households without young kids. The large size burners are nice, but it is hard to get a small flame on even the lowest setting.

Purchased this gas range after my 1986 range sprang a gas leak on Christmas Day. It works well and the size is more than adequate. It's simple with a few nice features with the clock and timer. Nothing fancy, which is fine because I am not much of a cook. The price was right.

I love the new stove (top) but HATE the broiler area. For people with bad knees and older people that just can't bend down, It is too low to the floor. When the broiler shelf is pulled out it will tip down completely if you are not carful. Too many people broil food for this design to be like this. Broiler poorly designed and obviously NOT designed by a woman.

Had this a couple weeks, replacing one 16 years old. It's great! I especially like the smaller grates. As I don't have a dishwasher, the continuous grates didn't fit in my sink all at once. Not a problem now! Temps seem to be right on target. Great value for me, plain and simple!
