Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Something went wrong after only 2.5 years

Kylierz 9/28/2026

I was so happy to get a Maytag. The capacity this can hold was the main reason I bought this. It worked great for the first two years of use. More recently though I can™€™t use any other settings except normal and I can™€™t use high fill because it apparently leaks over the top somehow. Now it won™€™t properly run a full cycle anymore. Didn™€™t get a warranty because it™€™s a Maytag™€¦. I was wrong on that end. I wish I did. Very disappointed

Best deal through Costco

Woody1979 9/24/2026

Large capacity, no issues. It seemed louder than my previous washing machine but the difference was not that bad. Costco delivery was great. They initiated the first empty wash cycle as is customary for new washers. The first load I did stopped before the final rinse and drain. Maybe the load got out of balance. I set the washing machine to rinse and spin and it worked fine. After that, every washing machine cycle has worked perfectly. I™€™m so relieved after the issues I had with a Samsung washing machine that needed a new circuit board. I will be replacing my Samsung dryer with a Maytag dryer soon.

Junk

Will-you 9/15/2026

Maytag is not like they used to be. Washer went out just after warranty expired. Won™€™t buy anymore of this junk. My old one lasted over 20 years. That was when Maytag was made to last and no looking for a bigger bottom dollar. Very disappointed!

Soapy feel to clean clothes

frustratedbuyer2 9/15/2026

I have the machine set to heavy with an extra rinse on tap cold and the clothes come out with a soapy feeling even with the second rinse. I'm hoping that when they say, "built to last" they mean that it lasts much longer than a year after the warranty. I have had 4 washers in the last 15 years and my friend told me she has the same washer that she bought when her daughter was born 40 years ago. Those machines were built to last!

No end of cycle tone.

Mel824 9/14/2026

The look and operation of the machine is perfect. The only surprise I had was that there is no end of cycle notification. I never imagined that was an ™€œoption™€. Gemini recommended that I time it using my cell phone. After much searching I was able to find out how long the different cycles were.

Excellent washer and a good value

Cwb58 9/12/2026

We are very pleased with this top loading Maytag washer. The capacity is great for anything we need to wash, and can get more done in a single load than others. Everything washed receives good saturation of the detergent, and seems to agitate the load very effectively. Quite satisfied with this purchase so far!

So far, so good.

Jon & Marta 8/31/2026

We've only had the machine for about three weeks, but it seems to be doing its job. I am grateful I read earlier reviews before purchasing this machine, because it is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to the "Deep Fill" setting on all cycles, unless you're only washing a few small items. Otherwise, your load will not get saturated and fully cleaned.

Hokie76 8/31/2026

This washer does a great job on our clothes! We feel we got a great deal on it from Costco. The only drawback is that it doesn't have a visual timer that shows the remaining time in the cycle. The capacity is great for our loads and the features are easy to use.

Nothing but problems!

Momof2DD 8/16/2026

If I could rate a 0, I would. Purchased in 2022. Within 2 months, the motor went out. It was repaired under warranty. Four years later, I™€™ve replaced the shifter, control panel, capacitor and wire harness. Essentially I purchased the washer again, all within 3 months. Today, it™€™s not working again! This is a lemon with some serious flaws, stay far away from this model! I™€™m so disgusted with Quality and will not purchase Maytag again.

Don™€™t waste your money

Ian Michael 8/13/2026

Ever use a product and wonder if the manufacture bothered to test their design? That is exactly how this Maytag washer dryer combo makes me feel. The design for the soap dispenser makes no sense. It™€™s flimsy plastic slide out tray that never empties all the way. In fact, it doesn™€™t really empty at all. It™€™s always filled with soapy water after every wash. It never dries out. The tray is always full of water and when you pull it out, you can see water fills the space underneath the tray. If you run your washer once and then not for a couple of days stuff begins to grow inside. There™€™s always water trapped underneath the tray of the soap dispenser. You have to remove the tray every time and wipe down the machine.. It™€™s very annoying and not something you think you should be dealing with when you™€™re spending over $1000. The dryer is just as bad. Whenever you take out the lint filter it™€™s designed in a way to shoot the lint in every direction as much as possible. For some reason, the filter goes over at an arch in the machine so when you pull out the filter, most of it will fall off back down into the machine. The rest shoots out all over the surfaces of your dryer. The timer can also only be set for 15, 30, 60 and 90 minutes. There is no 45 minutes for some reason. The auto sensor dryer feature never works right. It always shuts off while the clothes are still soaking wet. Also, while running the dryer, raw clip got stuck in the side and scratched all the paint off on the ring so now it looks like a older raggedy dryer. This washer dryer combo is a prime example of how just cause something is over $1000 doesn™€™t mean it™€™s good. I regret my purchase.

Great Features

Sue212 8/2/2026

I love the washer. The large capacity allows for heavier loads (duvet covers). I like the impeller so much better than the typical agitator. The liquid detergent release empties thoroughly with no icky residue left (which is a big plus).

Washing Machine

MicWash 8/2/2026

I am enjoying my washing machine. It™€™s only been a month and I hope it lasts long enough to give to my grandchildren. Only dislike when clothes go to one side and make that rumble sound due to unbalanced.

TERRIBLE WASHER

johncast 8/2/2026

WE HAD THIS MACHINE ABOUT TWO WEEKS AND IT STOPPED WORKING. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED COSTCO AND MADE ARRANGEMENTS TO HAVE IT PICKED UP. IT WAS TERRIBLE FROM THE FIRST DAY WE STARTED USING IT. WE HAD A LG THAT RAN FOR 14 YEARS AND NEVER DID IT SOUND LIKE THIS MAYTAG. MAYTAG ALWAYS HAD A GREAT REPUTATION BUT SINCE IT WAS BOUGHT BY WHIRLPOOL, THEY ARE NOT WORRIED ABOUT MAYTAG'S QUALITY. i WILL CONTINUE TO TALK ABOUT THE POOR QUALITY OF THIS MACHINE.

Efficiient spin cycle

Bob 1220 8/2/2026

I like this spin cycle as it removes much of the water from the load. This means less drying time.

Spin and drain

SivartDesign 8/2/2026

On a full bedding or towel wash it doesn™€™t completely drain and spin water out of bedding. It was not a full load of bedding and it still did not completely drain water from sheets and covers.

Heavy blankets are a no

DevRay 8/2/2026

Only thing I found that I™€™m not 100% satisfied with is that we have a lot of fuzzy throw blankets and the washer does not like to ring them out. They are too heavy so I have started now washing them all separately. I now wash them in a separate load with just one in them at a time and it™€™s still machine doesn™€™t want to ring them out

Zero, I mean zero instructions on how the detergent and softener dispenser are used. Not on the web site, not in the instruction manual. Big fat zero

I would like there to be more water in the machine? Some of the clothes are not covered in water?

Quality washer.

Replaced Old Maytag 7/29/2026

Controls are very easy to use. I'm still wondering about the deep fill. The water only seems to fill only about half way. From the term "deep fill", I assumed that it will fill the basin a lot more. The speed of the spin cycle is superb. The clothes come out almost dry. Less time in the dryer. This is my 2nd Maytag washer. My previous model lasted 28 years. That is why I went with another Maytag. I hope this new one will be as reliable as my previous one.

No great features noted

JNeal 7/29/2026

I'm very disappointed in the overall operation of the washer. I think the agitation is fine, however when washing a fitted sheet, all of the pillowcases and other flat sheet wind up inside of the fitted sheet, and my feeling is that the overall wash is not clean. The washer is very noisy and shakes a lot. I am considering an upgrade.

Large capacity

DDLL 7/29/2026

Large capacity, agitation is good, only complaint was quite a loud noise when spinning. Detergent release always has some left over in the tray. I preferred to put the detergent directly into the washer.

Good Washer

Linda777 7/29/2026

The Maytag washer is good, but the water capacity is not high enough for bigger loads to get them clean even on the high level. I do like the ease of selecting cycles. Otherwise it is a good washer. Thank you for considering my opinion.

At first it was hard to wrap my head around not having an agitator but it seems to clean nicely. I™€™ve done some rugs and I didn™€™t have to try to push them in around an agitator so I feel they may have forten cleaner because they had more room. I™€™ve only tried the quick wash feature but it seems to be efficient for us.

Clean clothes, quick cycle time and very quiet

Cookie#1 7/28/2026

Great machine! Extra large capacity with a wide range of cycles and speeds to choose from. Machine is quiet and unless you are standing in front of it, you don't realize it is running. Preferred and owned Maytag front loader for over 25 years prior and this machine replaced my Maytag front loader seamlessly. We hesitated buying a top loader but didn't want to wait on a long delivery of a front loader, so we bought this Maytag top loader with the large 4.8 cu ft capacity. This Maytag top loader holds larger loads, runs quieter and cleans the clothes better with the impeller instead of the normal agitator. This new impeller technology seems to clean the clothes as well as our old front loader - maybe better. Takes a little care to get clothes loaded properly but once done, the machine seems to do it's job quickly.

Great machine

Washing machine913 7/25/2026

I love the machine. The only thing I don't like is it's very hard to tell when it's unbalanced. It's a loud machine, so you don't always hear the knocking.
