The dishwasher only lasted 1 year 4 months or around 64 washes. The lights on the front of the dishwasher would flash really fast like it was losing power and then when we shut it off and restart the dishwasher it would run until it had 50 min left and it would start peeping and then shut off.

Horrendous customer service utilize the chat box only to wait 2 and half hours and to be transfered and hung up on. Happened twice. Called and took forever to get a human being as they try to defer you to the defunct chat box. Never got anything resolved on my dishwasher. I ended up you tube and found my answers that LG service couldnt provide.

Purchase with Caution

I purchased this dishwasher in May 2023 and it never really worked correctly. Constantly setting off the leak detection which would shut down the ability to use it. After several service calls and 14 months of battling with LG it was finally determined that the unit was damaged during manufacturing and would never work correctly it would always leak. This was a problem that should have been easily noticed on the first service call. Once it was determined that it was damaged we waited an additional 2 months many phone calls and yet another service call appt to verify what they already knew before the replacement unit was finally delivered. LGs Customer Service was so bad I honestly will never buy another LG product based on that alone ...... All that aside though now that I have a working unit my opinion is this. I dislike the fact that it does not dry the dishes. I am told they dont make units that do this anymore. But as far as washing it seems to do a good enough job. I want to find at least one positive thing to say about it.... The third row is awesome its a tiny tray at the top that holds silverware lids etc. Love that feature. I think if you purchased this unit and got lucky enough to never need service youd probably be ok with it as long as you dont like heat dry. But if you are ok with air dry and you if you got a unit that wasnt damaged in need of service you would probably like this unit just fine.

Technician canceled the night before our appointment. Rescheduled for a week later. It was not fun doing dishes by hand for over a week. Received a confirmation email the day before our second appointment. Technician never called or showed up. A few days later my husband fixed it himself. A week after that technician called to reschedule. Very frustrating Our dishwasher is less than a year old.

LG is a terrible product and policy to help with issue is just as bad This dishwasher does not dry still hand dry the silverware and the body of the dishwasher does not dry it is still wet several days after washing. Even though in the details it is a Dynamic Dry Technology delivers faster more complete drying. FALSE They will not help with fixing or returning the product. Cant fix because thats how it is you have to use extra product in machine to help dry. So I purchased a $900 dishwasher with Dynamic Dry technology and now I have to purchase product to help it dry. This is ridiculous I will never purchase a LG product of any sort again

My issue is not with the product itself but the customer service received. The chat function constantly drops you forcing you to start from the beginning and you get passed around endlessly. I understand odd things can happen when trying to get something covered under a warranty but we purchased multiple items from LG last year and anytime I have had to contact them regarding something under warranty the experience has been the same terrible. I would rather pay more money for better customer service.

This dishwasher is very stylish with the black no print stainless steel and whisper quiet when running. I love that it has suggested settings based on if the dishes will be left overnight. The third rack is great for silverware and small items. It even plays a little tune when the wash cycle is done. I am so very happy with my purchase of this dishwasher.

I purchased this dishwasher 1 year and a half ago. Twelve month warranty expired and now the motor is gone. Repairman said the cost of repair is as much as a new machine. In the year and a half that I owned it it was used no more than 20 times for sure. Its just 2 of us in the home and used it very rarely.

Poor drying - Buyer Beware.

This dishwasher will not dry your dishes. Despite trying all the suggested fixes from LG the dishes are still dripping wet. The extra dry feature does not work. The night dry feature does not work. We have to hand dry the dishes daily. We purchased the product from Lowes. They would not honor an exchange for a different dishwasher. LG did not respond to our message sent to their support team. We gave Lowes and LG a chance to make this right. Neither have responded. The LG refrigerator that we purchased at the same time is fantastic but this product was a waste of $600.

We have had this dishwasher for a month now and we love it its incredibly quiet The only thing that makes a noise is the drain. My wife loves the adjustable top rack it was one of the selling points for her its very smooth and has very accessible handles to help with the adjustment. Other models we looked at were much more difficult to maneuver. The black stainless steel looks amazing in our kitchen and is perfect since we have animals that brush up against it and push off of it cats on the counter leaving no hair or prints. Love the stainless steel inside since it helps with odor and stains. Im a journeyman plumber and installed the unit myself and have not had any problems with leaks or draining.

Works very well only downside is you have to have an android to use the thinQ function. Have also began to notice spot rust on the inside of the tub after only a month. Other than those two things this washer cleans exceptionally well and I barely notice it running. Many useful features.

This dishwasher is very quiet and excellent at cleaning all my dishes and flatware. It took some getting used to having the third rack but I now totally love it. A great place for all utensils. The adjustability of the second rack allows a great deal of flexibility for putting tall items in either the bottom or the second rack. Looks great and matches all my other LG appliances well.

Dishwasher not working from day one.

We purchased our dishwasher Feb. 4th. Was installed 2 weeks later and after 2 cycles it will not dry dishes. Contacted LG twice. One lady had me prove that rinse aid was in there. Ran cycle again. Still soaking wet inside. Talked to Vee at LG support again yesterday Feb. 28th second call. I was at work and she said she would call later that evening to do another test. Never received a call. Lowes send technician and he said heating element is bad. LG will not send their own people to check out dishwasher. We want this out of our house. A thousand dollars laternumerous calls and troubleshooting and still not working. I will never buy LG products again

If I could afford it I would trash this dishwasher and buy me another non-LG dishwasher. After using this loud thing bought this one specifically because it was supposed to be VERY VERY quiet it has stopped working on that particular setting. The setting? Normal. Only way I can use it is to put it on turbo setting and not only is it VERY VERY LOUD I can hear it from the back of my house it doesnt get all the dishes clean.

I had died in Sept 28 2022 came back but didnt get to install it till November 23. Didnt work. Fought you guys and you would do nothing. So here it is Feb 24 and still havent used it because the computer board doesnt work Terrible product and customer service. My LG range the top front burner is terrible. The flame comes around the side of a large pan and has burned two people and you wont do anything about that either.

Had a bad heart attach Sept 28 of 22 didnt get to install it because of health reason until Nov of 23 And it didnt work. Argued with you guys and nothing. Here it is Jan of 24 and still not working. Terrible customer service. My lg range I bought has burned two people to date because the right front burner is malfunctioning the flame come up around a large frying pan. And you wont do anything about that either.

Recently purchased this dishwasher when I updated the appliances in a new house. I have had 2 previous LG dishwashers and love them. I just automatically assumed this one would be awesome too. Not so much. If given a choice I would replace it with another product. I use the dishwasher virtually every day. It does not dry well. Nearly every single day a good amount of the load is wet not as clean as it should be and the dishwasher is fairly loud. Loud enough that I can hear it through the house which I could never do on my previous purchases. It is beautiful but does not function as advertised in my opinion. If it wasnt for the expense I would replace this model. I have friends who have the exact model that I do and none of them have had these issues.

I purchased this dishwasher on August 27 2022. I purchased it a few months after I had purchased the refrigerator the stove and the microwave. Unfortunately on December 2023 the dishwasher started making some loud sounds and then it finally started to smoke a code came up On the dishwasher. I had my son look it up and it said to unplug and open up The dishwasher. Motor was Overheating. When I called LG they asked if I had purchased insurance for it. I said no I didnt think it I would And its only a year old and four months. She REALLY HELPED ME OUT. The young lady. Had sent someone over to take a look. They did Put in a new motor for me. That was the only good thing about this dishwasher.

I bought this over a month ago and the 3rd rack was broken we have tried to get it replaced twice now and you keep sending us the wrong part other then that its great

Extremely loud and doesnt clean well at all. I hate it. Absolutely the loudest worst dishwasher I have ever owned. LG really dropped the ball on this one.

I bought 3 months ago and I have now called LG 4 times to fix a noise that happens in the rinse cycle to no avail Currently still not fixed and will be asking for it to be replaced.

Broke down within a month. They cant fix it. They said they would refund me. There was an issue with the way home depot put it on my receipt so as of yet I have not been refunded. I was happy if they just gave a replacement. At this point I do t know what else to do.

We had some problems with the front panel and after a quick call to the LG customer service they dispatched a service technician in two days with a new part. Tech arrived early and finished in a few minutes. Great experience.

Dont buy it Or if you do buy the extended warranty Nearly one year after installing it started having intermittent issues. Now its 2 years old and wont run an entire cycle without lights flashing and randomly turning off.

Defective junk

I dont know if mine is defective or if this is just trash. I bought this model in part because the photos showed the prongs on the bottom dish rack having curves to hold the plates up. The rack I received is not what is shown in photos and the prongs will not stay locked in place. As soon as I put more than two plates the prongs fall down and then of course the plates all fall down. We purchased this to replace our old LG dishwasher which was leaking after only six years. We have probably $8000 of LG appliances in our kitchen but I think we are done with them at this point.
